IBF is the independent voice and resource for small to medium enterprises in New Zealand. It assists in linking people and business through education and advocacy to facilitate economic growth and wealth creation in New Zealand.

The Independent Business Foundation is an incorporated Charitable Trust with business educational objectives. IBF serves the interests of its collective subscriber base of trade, technical and professional producers. The Foundation provides a link to unique and exclusive business improvement programmes and value added services.

IBF is an INDEPENDENT, CHARITABLE BUSINESS organisation.

  • We have no political, corporate or economic affiliations or committments.
  • All of our proceeds are redirected into the Tertiary education sector, with an aim to promoting and improving SMEs long term.
  • Our primary directive is to assist the advancement of 'growing' SMEs in New Zealand.

We are self funding through a combination of sponsorships, grants, donations, memberships, unique business improvement programmes and value added services.
